GREG AND I HAVE SIGNED A ONE YEAR LEASE ON AN APARTMENT!
After living in New York City for just over three months, we are officially becoming permanent residents. We have had the opportunity to sublet a couple different apartments, which has been great, but we were tired of moving and wanted a place of our own to call home.
I found a great apartment a few weeks ago, with a tip from a friend, and decided to check it out. It's a two bedroom place in the wonderful neighborhood of Park Slope in Brooklyn. It's only three avenues from where I work at the real estate office! Park Slope is the best neighborhood in Brooklyn. People ultimately want to move here and settle down, but the price of the market is so high that they can't afford it. I was lucky enough to get this place for a STEAL!!!
The only downside is, we don't have any furniture here. So we may be living off of the floor (and maybe a folding chair we find on the street) for the next 6 months until we can afford some. HahaSo feel free to send money or gift cards my way! Haha! I'm totally just kidding. Now you have somewhere to stay whenever you want to come and visit me!!!
